Welcome to RAEC! Renaissance Academy Environmental Center Located on 22 beautiful acres, our property is home to both the Renaissance Academy and its new Environmental Center. RAEC offers half day and full day youth programs throughout the summer. Children ages 5-17 will be stimulated by our experiential education curriculum that is designed to foster an appreciation of nature. Our goal is to inspire a set of ethics that spurs young people to nurture, respect and preserve the world around us. Please see the course descriptions here for further information regarding theme weeks, dates and pricing. The cost for each class includes materials. The adult guest series (Community Forum) brings in local speakers to enrich your outdoor experiences, enhance your understanding of environmental issues and motivate various outdoor pursuits. The series takes place every Tuesday evening at the 22 acre site for the environmental center and Renaissance Academy--2760 Fieldstone Road. RAEC will also be offering special programs, including pre/post program care, a Wilderness First Aid course, and the ability to customize a program based on the needs of your group This is an exciting time for the Renaissance Academy Environmental Center as we prepare for our third season.
